Eddie Fleisher is a creative type from Cleveland, Ohio
As a journalist, he’s freelanced for print and web publications like Alternative Press, Cleveland Scene, Wax Poetics, DJ TechTools, Cellar Door, and The Cleveland Movie Blog. He’s a synopsis writer for the Cleveland International Film Festival, now in its 41st year. In 2016, he briefly hosted and produced Hashtag City, an audio show about music, arts, & culture.
He also works as the Assistant Engineer at Cauliflower Audio, a full-service audio mastering studio located in the 78th Street Studios building in Cleveland.
Fleisher is a musician, as well. He founded LRI in 2003, a micro-label known for it’s Necker Cube compilations. From 2007 to 2013, he led the synth-pop duo, Presque Vu. He currently produces hip-hop and electronic music as Johnny La Rock, often recording and performing with Furface as “JLRFF.”
His latest solo single is a ’90s Eurodance-inspired jam called “Dance To The Rhythm (Party Time).” It can be heard here.
When he’s not working on these things, he’s out enjoying Cleveland, a city that is near and dear to his heart. He also spends a solid amount of time watching Netflix with his pal, Duckie, a one-eyed pug/boston terrier. You can contact Eddie via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
